Update: Well this meal was definitely a success, at least for my husband and myself. Not such a hit with the kids but for some reason the word cabbage instantly makes this meal “gross”. I figured they wouldn’t even try it so for them it was left over chili tonight. I will say that next time I would add either a bit of cayenne pepper or some red pepper flakes just to kick it up a notch and seeing as the kids won’t try it no reason not to.
